Three Designs Pending Release!

PENDING RELEASE **A TRIO of Beauties

Wintery Moon in the Round; 156x156 - is a spin-off of the third design in the upcoming Tempting Tangles “WaterMeadows Castle” series.  Charted in DMC floss, it is easy to translate to your favorite specialty floss. This design does have some half, quarter and petite stitches with instruction.  Stitch on white or pale gray, any pastel linen or even weave.

This round version of Wintery Moon is a cameo of the original, larger, more detailed Wintery Moon, which will be available to shops as part of the upcoming Watermeadows Season Series, for later in 2011/2012.

Panoply of Peacocks - 257x353 - With it’s dozens upon dozens of antique-style peacocks, twirling together in a kaleidoscope of peacock hued & patterned motifs reminiscent of more serious Quaker medallions, this design is the very definition of the word “panoply”.

Calculated to fit nicely on a fat quarter of 32 or 36 count linen if stitched over 2 threads, it can be just as beautiful stitched over 1 on an even weave of 26 count, resulting in a finished work of 10 x 13 ¾”. Stitched over 1 on 28 count, you will have a dainty piece 9 1/4 x 12 3/4.  Suggested flosses are Crescent Colours silk or cotton floss. The design is currently being stitched in the elegant, variegated belle soie, for a stunning finish to this luscious design.  Pictures will be posted as soon as that work is complete.  Nothing looks quite the same as hand-dyed silk, so do treat yourself on this design. The result will be worth your efforts.

Liberty For All - 193x233 - Just in time for Fourth of July stitching.  Flavors of Americana and Patriotism couldn't be more vibrant in this rich red and blue band sampler. Included are sections of Assisi work to show off the delicate fruited and flowering vines. Complete with tiny, cracked Liberty Bill.  Full and half stitch, back stitch, and Assisi bands with Algerian Eyelet border.

Suggested fabric:  Wichelt linen natural light brown 32 ct over 2 threads.  Finished size if stitched over 2 threads of fabric fits on a fat quarter at 12-1/8 x 14-5/8h inches.   Note: The letter “O” is missing from the alphabet, just to keep you on your toes!
